Christmas is just around the corner (how did THAT happen?) and children everywhere are making their wish lists in anticipation of the big day.
Helping Hand of Hope, in partnership with local churches and community groups, is once again hosting the Affordable Christmas program. This program empowers parents as they shop for brand-new gifts at greatly reduced prices in order to give their children a magical holiday season. The program preserves the dignity of the parents, gives children Christmas joy and shares the message of Christ’s birth.
On November 13th at 3:00pm, the chamber is hosting a VOLUNTEER MOB at Helping Hand of Hope, located at 6796 South Wilson Road in Elizabethtown, to help sort the toys and donations.
Please join us for networking, fun and warm fuzzies as we help make Christmas dreams come true. You can also support the cause by visiting https://helpinghandofhope.org/services/ and purchasing items directly from their wish list. Every gift goes directly into the hands of a local family in need and every gift equals a smile on Christmas morning.
See you there!
