July 28, 2023 By Kendra Scott

The 2023 Annual Meeting & Awards Program was a Night of Celebration

We had a wonderful time celebrating the Chamber and some very special award recipients at the 2023 Hardin County Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Awards Program held at the historic State Theater on July 20, 2023.

Headlined by the premier sponsor, The Wright Legacy Group, the evening included live music from Celtic trio nu Skylark, a delicious meal from Back Home, a year-in-review video and the introduction of the 2023-2024 HCCC Board of Directors. Also, outgoing Board Chairman Philip Tabb was recognized and thanked for his dedicated service to the Chamber.

Heartland Communications Community Storyteller Greg Milby and WHAS-TV’s “Great Day Live!” host Claudia Coffey, served as masters of ceremonies and did a beautiful job engaging the crowd.

Several awards were presented to some surprised recipients.

Congratulations to:

Ambassador of the Year:  Barbara Edwards, Retired

The Rising Star Award:  Sakinah Bunch, Cleangoodeats, Inc.

Excellence in Government Award:  Selena Hudson, Vine Grove City Council

Quality of Place Award:  Charlie Skees, Elizabethtown Historic Preservation Commission

The Ralph Reese Fort Knox Community Partnership Award:  Charlie Fraley, Radcliff-Fort Knox Tourism Commission

Hall of Fame Award:  Bro. Mike Bell, Glendale Christian Chuch

Ronnie J. Pence Chamber Champion Award:  Jennifer Meyers, WQXE

Thanks to the sponsor, The Wright Legacy Group, the volunteers, Ambassadors, State Theater staff and everyone who supported the event. It was a stellar evening!
