“Marketing Your Business” Series Gets Underway

The Hardin County Chamber of Commerce kicked off “Marketing Your Business – Creating a Competitive Advantage” at its Business at Breakfast event on Aug. 30. Michael Bateman, vice president of marketing at Fort Knox Federal Credit Union, presented on the topic, What is Marketing? Bateman covered branding, positioning, budgeting and five steps to success. He also stressed the importance of social media as part of an integrated marketing campaign.

The next installment of the “Marketing Your Business” series will be Planning for Success – Matching Tactics with Audience and Goals, presented by Heartland Communications Consultants. Other upcoming sessions include: Advertising; Options for Paid Advertising – the Virtues of Paid Media; and Getting Social…It’s all About the Relationships.
