Louisville boxer Carlos Dixon to make appearance at Elizabethtown Swim & Fitness Center

WHAT: 

 

Louisville professional boxer Carlos Dixon defends his World Boxing Council (WBC) Junior Super Featherweight title on Jan. 18 in an eight-round bout that will be held at historic Louisville Memorial Auditorium.

 

Dixon will be available in Elizabethtown on Saturday for photos and will autograph commemorative posters that will be distributed to fans. He also will be available for media interviews.

WHO: The following dignitaries are scheduled to be in attendance:

  • Elizabethtown Mayor Jeff Gregory
  • 25th District Kentucky State Representative Jim DuPlessis
  • Hardin County Sheriff John Ward
  • Radcliff Mayor J. J. Duvall

Other dignitaries expected to be in attendance:

  • Hardin County Judge Executive Harry Berry
  • Fort Knox Commanding General John Evans, Jr.
  • Army General Jim Iacocca (retired)
  • Kentucky State Senator Dennis Parrett
