In partnership with the Kentucky Association of Manufacturers (KAM), the chamber hosted a special networking event, KAM OFF THE CLOCK, on July 8, 2025.
A great crowd was on hand at Back Home’s Room 62 venue to network and learn more about the state of manufacturing not only in Hardin county, but across the Commonwealth.
Sponsored by Metalsa, the event included remarks from Metalsa Plant Manager Brett Barnes, KAM President Frank Jemley, Hardin County Judge Executive Keith Taul, State Senator Matt Deneen, State Senator Steve Bratcher, State Senator Nancy Tate and State Senator Mike Nemes. We were also very honored to have United States Congressman Brett Guthrie on hand to deliver remarks. He spoke briefly about his role as the Chairman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, where he is the first Kentuckian to hold this position.
Guests from across the region representing local government and a wide variety of industries attended the event and enjoyed networking and information-sharing.
Thanks to Metalsa, KAM and everyone who attended and supported this event. We are thankful for the strong manufacturing presence in our community and appreciate the contributions they make daily.
