Don’t forget to bring your comfort and care items to the March luncheon in support of the Leadership Hardin County’s class project of “Fostering Love Comfort Bags Drive.”
The class is collecting items to benefit local children in the foster care system. Items such as pajamas, small toys or stuffed animals, personal hygiene items, bottles, diapers, pacifiers, underwear, school supplies, jeans, journals and other items are being collected to help children as they transition into foster homes. Monetary donations are also accepted. The goal is to provide items of comfort and care to foster children to give them dignity and support during times of uncertainty.
With your help, the class hopes to create 150 bags. Each bag will also include a personal note of support and encouragement.
Donations will be accepted through April 1, 2025 and items will be collected at various locations across the community as well as the March Chamber luncheon.
Thanks for your support!
