The Hardin County Chamber of Commerce opened registration today for “Social Media Boot Camp,” its second offering in the continuing Business at Breakfast series. The chamber is also launching a Lunch and Learn series with the popular “Marketing Your Business” program. Both programs are designed to help develop members’ skills and knowledge to make their businesses more successful.
“The ‘Marketing Your Business’ program was so successful last year that we wanted to offer it again, but this time we decided to offer it during the lunch hour to give people who couldn’t make it to breakfast a chance to participate,” said Brad Richardson, chamber president and CEO, “The lunches will be held every other week at Colton’s Steak House in Radcliff, with the first class on March 7 beginning at 11:30.”
The “Social Media Boot Camp” program was added based on feedback from participants who attended last year’s “Marketing Your Business” program. The first breakfast will be held March 14 at Trino’s in Elizabethtown, starting with breakfast and networking at 7:30 am.
The programs feature several subject matter experts who work at Hardin County businesses including marketing directors, local media and advertising sales representatives, as well as firms that provide marketing services.
“We’re pleased to be a part of the program,” said Michael Bateman, chair of the chamber’s marketing council and vice president of marketing for the Fort Knox Federal Credit Union. “We welcome the opportunity to provide assistance to local businesses.”
Cost to attend the five-week “Marketing Your Business” program is $75 and the four-week “Social Media Boot Camp” is $40. To register visit www.hardinchamber.com/register .
