The Hardin County Chamber of Commerce opened registration today for โSocial Media Boot Camp,โ its second offering in the continuing Business at Breakfast series.ย The chamber is also launching a Lunch and Learn series with the popular โMarketing Your Businessโ program.ย Both programs are designed to help develop membersโ skills and knowledge to make their businesses more successful.
“The โMarketing Your Businessโ program was so successful last year that we wanted to offer it again, but this time we decided to offer it during the lunch hour to give people who couldnโt make it to breakfast a chance to participate,โ said Brad Richardson, chamber president and CEO, โThe lunches will be held every other week at Coltonโs Steak House in Radcliff, with the first class on March 7 beginning at 11:30.โ
The โSocial Media Boot Campโ program was added based on feedback from participants who attended last yearโs โMarketing Your Businessโ program. The first breakfast will be held March 14 at Trinoโs in Elizabethtown, starting with breakfast and networking at 7:30 am.
The programs feature several subject matter experts who work at Hardin County businesses including marketing directors, local media and advertising sales representatives, as well as firms that provide marketing services.
โWeโre pleased to be a part of the program,โ said Michael Bateman, chair of the chamberโs marketing council and vice president of marketing for the Fort Knox Federal Credit Union.ย โWe welcome the opportunity to provide assistance to local businesses.โ
Cost to attend the five-week โMarketing Your Businessโ program is $75 and the four-week โSocial Media Boot Campโ is $40.ย To register visit www.hardinchamber.com/register .
