CONGRATULATIONS to the 2025 class of Youth Leadership Hardin County!
A record-size group of 37 high school juniors participated in this year’s program representing seven local high schools: Central Hardin, John Hardin, North Hardin, Elizabethtown, Fort Knox, North Hardin Christian School and the homeschool population.
Youth Leadership Hardin County is a six month program immersing high school juniors in the local community. The students, who are selected through a competitive application process, learn about various aspects of our community via tours, panel discussions, hands on activities and more. Sessions include visits to Fort Knox, local industry, post-secondary education, healthcare and more, as well as a team-building session to build relationships and leadership qualities.
YLHC was formed by Ron Bryan with Hardin County Schools and Denise Morgan with Elizabethtown Independent Schools and it is made possible through the generous support of sponsors and volunteers, including the caring school counselors and supportive administrators of each school.
The graduation program was graciously sponsored by WesBanco, and Heartland Region President Marilyn Ford, shared words of wisdom with the class. Special thanks to Zac Newton for serving as the emcee, as well as a hearty thanks to the staff of EC3 for hosting the event.
Congratulations to all!
