After a brief, full-time closure, the Wilson Gate to Fort Knox has reopened on a limited basis.
The gate operates each weekday from 6:00-9:00am with one inbound lane and outbound lane open and again from 3:00-6:00pm for outbound traffic only.
This limited reopening is possible thanks to the support of on-post units and organizations that provided Soldiers to complete the required training and certification for gate guard duties.
We appreciate the commitment of Fort Knox leadership and Soldiers for working to find a feasible and sustainable solution to reopening the gate. This gate greatly impacts the businesses community, our Soldiers, Ft. Knox families, workforce and visitors.
