As Hardin County’s youngest Rotary Club, our members are mostly comprised of local individuals that want to plug into Hardin County community but have trouble getting to daytime meetings.
Our current president, Neal Gibbs, spearheaded the only Interact Club in Hardin County, comprised of 31 students, ages 12-13. Our club aids in leading the youth down the path of selflessness through community service. In their very first year assembled, the Interact Club members have received the President’s Volunteer Service Award, signed by the President of the United States.
Our club’s philosophy: We cannot serve our community from meeting rooms. We are a “hand’s on” organization, serving for/with our Hardin County neighbors, shoulder to shoulder. Please consider joining us as we apply ourselves to community service projects, rolling up our sleeves at Memorial United Methodist Church’s Food Pantry, Feeding America and Warm Blessings, among other local charities.
We meet twice a month, the second and fourth Thursday of each month, 5:30 PM at the Boundary Oaks Distillery. Meetings last one hour. Monthly dues are $15.
