PT Pros is a multi-location physical therapy practice, owned and operated by some of the nation's leading practitioners. Since 1980, we have served our communities through leading-edge, evidence-based practice. We are dedicated to fostering quality patient care in a compassionate and supportive environment and providing the best rehabilitative and preventive care possible.

Our company is active in several professional organizations, including the American Physical Therapy Association and the Kentucky Physical Therapy Association. Many of our employees are involved at the state and national levels in these organizations and also work in Washington, DC with current healthcare legislative efforts and lobbying. As well, each location is dedicated to community service and actively participates in many organizations, churches and events to promote healthcare and well-being in their area.

PT Pros was founded in 1980 by Connie Hauser, PT, DPT. The original facility was a contract physical therapy inpatient and outpatient site located in Barbourville, Kentucky. This first clinic had just 300 sq. ft., four treatment beds, and a staff of one physical therapist and one technician/secretary.

Over the next 20 years, the company — operating as Kentucky Physical Therapy — grew to include several clinical sites throughout southeastern Kentucky and, in 2002, the company's name was changed to PT Pros. Currently, the company operates six clinical locations, as well as, maintains contracts with skilled nursing facilities and hospitals in the area and has grown to include more than sixty employees and three shareholders: Connie Hauser, PT, DPT; Holly Johnson, PT, DPT; and Eric Evans.
