About Us

In 1978 Doug Estes started business with one wrecker at a two-bag garage on East Dixie Ave.    In 1988 two repair bays were added.  In 1994, Doug's son Kevin joined the business and another wrecker was purchased.   By 2002, two heavy duty wreckers and  a large semi-truck were added.   DTR added service to heavy trucks and transport of heavy equipment. By 2007 DTR owned over 40 units.  This year  DTR purchased a towing business in Leitchfield making it one of Kentucky's largest in the industry.
