About Us

Friends of Hardin County Animal Shelter works to cultivate a like-minded community where animals are valued and treated compassionately. We do this through support of Hardin County Animal Care and Control, advocacy for animal welfare, and community education and collaboration. FOHCAS is a 501(c)3 tax exempt charity with an all-volunteer board of directors. All of the proceeds from our fundraising support our mission.
