SUMMARY:HOSPARUS Open House and Ribbon Cutting!
DESCRIPTION:Hosparus Central Kentucky hosts open house and chamber ribbon cutting for new Memorial Garden\n Hosparus Central Kentucky will host an open house to unveil its new Memorial Garden\, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday\, May 17.  Festivities that day also include a ribbon cutting and celebration by the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce at Noon.  Following the ribbon cutting\, Hosparus staff and volunteers will serve soft drinks and heavy appetizers.  To RSVP\, call Shelley Hummel at 270-737-6300 by Friday\, May 10. \nLisa Sanford\, senior manager of advancement and community relations\, says\, “The new garden will serve as a special remembrance for the thousands of patients and families we have had the privilege to serve.  An event like this also affords us the opportunity to educate our community about our programs such as bereavement and pediatric care among others.” \nFor 35 years\, Hosparus\, a fully accredited non-profit hospice organization\, has provided care\, comfort and counseling for people facing life-limiting illnesses in Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
