Do you endorse LIFT and the Local Option Sales Tax?

I do support the Local Investment for Transformation (LIFT). However, I support the idea of educating citizens on this matter first. Lift creates that opportunity to have better quality of life and economic development for all cities for Capital projects only. Each city would need to do an analysis of what would be the best projects from the citizens. I support the idea of letting the citizens make a good sound decision on the future of Radcliff, Hardin county and Kentucky.

Whether you are in support of LIFT or not, what projects do you see as priority that could benefit from community funding?

Some of the priorities could be that it can be used for improving area streets and roads, fire stations, develop community parks or refurbishing a community’s downtown area. Just to name a few things.

Do you see any services provided by both County and City government where it would be more cost effective to combine these efforts?

I believe that in order to best respond to this question looking there would need to be research done in all areas to see what and where we are speaking of working together. How best would we determine what would be the fairest way for each city’s needs?

In light of potential additional cuts at Fort Knox, will you endorse funding for One Knox? If not, what are you willing to do to protect the economic contribution of Fort Knox?

I have shared my interest in this area.

What are you recommending being done to bring new business to the community? What incentives should the City make available to existing business to expand and potential new business to come to the area?

I believe we need to keep a Regular and Open Line of Communication with the Business Community. Also, continue to Increase and Encourage Public–‐Private Partnerships

Work together as a county that wants to see all of Hardin County be a success.

What will you do to improve the physical appearance of the business community? Will you put processes in place to ensure the ease of access through planning and zoning for new business development in the area?

Promote public education and job training initiative.

With the termination of the North Hardin Economic Development Authority, who within the City will assume the role of oversight for Millpond and business attraction activities? What do you see as the key strategic plans for the marketing and development of Millpond?

If we are looking to work together as a whole and develop measures that the entire county can benefit from then let’s explore that avenue.

Will you be a supporter of Radcliff First? Will you be a supporter of the Radcliff Small Business Alliance? Will you be a supporter of the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce?

For the Mayor office, which of these meetings will you regularly attend? I believe we have to look at both these areas and see what we can do to work together to build Hardin County as a whole. Because, if we are placing jobs Radcliff will help not just Radcliff but the entire region.
