Congratulations to the Fort Knox Federal Credit Union on their newest branch office, located in the Meijer’s Shopping Complex at 9915 Dixie Highway in Valley Station. The ribbon cutting took place on January 18th, and marked the opening of this Chamber President’s Circle member’s 13th office in Kentucky – Their sixth since 2010! The Fort Knox Federal Credit Union’s first “free standing” facility in Jefferson County was built by local subcontractors to keep much of the economic benefit of the project in the local community.

“Opening a branch in Jefferson County gives the Credit Union a clear opportunity to expand its membership base there and to offer comprehensive financial services to Louisville residents. We already have about 2,000 members who live in Jefferson County and many more who commute between Louisville and Fort Knox. Now these members have convenient branch locations both where they live and work,” said President and Chief Executive Officer Bill Rissel.
