Patriot Day

September 11, 2001 is a day forever etched in the minds of our nation. Patriot Day honors the memory of the nearly 3,000 innocent victims who lost their lives in the horrific terrorist attacks. It is a day dedicated to those who died and the first responders who bravely risked and lost their lives to save them.

Patriot Day is meant to be a day of service, reflection, honor and prayer. Various programs and events will be held to commemorate the day, including a service coordinated by Fort Knox to be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central at 8:15am on September 11, 2023.

Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the tragedy of 9/11. We will never forget the magnitude of that tragic day.
