On February 11th, Governor Andy Beshear visited Hardin County to present over four million dollars in funding for infrastructure projects across the county.
The eight projects totaled $4,075,048 from the American Rescue Plan and the state’s Cleaner Water Program. The funds will be used for vital water and sewer updates and improvements. Some of the projects include a new 750,000 gallon tank for Hardin County Water District No. 2, upgrades to Vine Grove’s wastewater treatment plant and improvements to the City of West Point’s south end lift station.
These projects are timely and necessary to support the economic growth that Hardin County is experiencing.
