Do you endorse LIFT and the Local Option Sales Tax?

Yes, as long as the tax is ended once the goal is reached.

Whether you are in support of LIFT or not, what projects do you see as priority that could benefit from community funding?

Completing the city parks projects, projects to benefit juveniles, and supporting our schools to make them the best they can be.

Do you see any services provided by both County and City government where it would be more cost effective to combine these efforts?

I don’t think I could answer this question yet.

I would have to research different options to get an answer to this question.

In light of potential additional cuts at Fort Knox, will you endorse funding for One Knox? If not, what are you willing to do to protect the economic contribution of Fort Knox?

Yes to funding One Knox, I do believe we need more face time with our Senator and Congressman so we are not forgotten.

What are you recommending being done to bring new business to the community? What incentives should the City make available to existing business to expand and potential new business to come to the area?

Better tax breaks would always help; I think we need to do a better job marketing Radcliff as a great place to have a business.

What will you do to improve the physical appearance of the business community? Will you put processes in place to ensure the ease of access through planning and zoning for new business development in the area?

Yes, I am presently chairman of Planning and Zoning and have been working for a long time to ensure ease of access to business in Radcliff.

With the termination of the North Hardin Economic Development Authority, who within the City will assume the role of oversight for Millpond and business attraction activities? What do you see as the key strategic plans for the marketing and development of Millpond?

The Mayor should lead the oversight of Millpond with City Council assistance. The key is better marketing. We should reach out to companies and let them know the benefits of locating in Radcliff.

Will you be a supporter of Radcliff First? Will you be a supporter of the Radcliff Small Business Alliance? Will you be a supporter of the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce? For the Mayor office, which of these meetings will you regularly attend?

Yes to all the programs, I do believe in being active in the community I live in and supporting the organizations that help our community to be stronger.
