While the chamber is well known for hosting ribbon cuttings, it is rare to host a ribbon cutting for itself, but on December 11, 2024, the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce had the opportunity to do just that in a special ribbon cutting ceremony.
After an extensive renovation project, the new and improved Hardin County Chamber of Commerce building is complete and it was only fitting to host a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the completion of the project.
HCCC President/CEO Margy Poorman, VP of Operations Kendra Scott, and Office Manager Brenda Thompson, were surrounded by board members, elected officials and Chamber Ambassadors as they cut the ribbon to the historical building located at 111 West Dixie Avenue in downtown Elizabethtown.
Thanks to everyone for their patience, support and involvement in this project. We appreciate everyone who had a hand in the project. The building looks BEAUTIFUL and all members are welcome. Please visit your chamber soon!
