Help a Service Member Transition into Civilian Life

Are you interested in helping military service members transition to the civilian world? You can become a volunteer with the ETS-SP program. Training is provided and this is a wonderful way to support military members and their families as they transition into our community.

What is ETS-SP?
ETS-SP stands for the Expiration Term of Service- Sponsorship Program.

What’s that?
ETS-SP is a program established in partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the U.S. Army to sponsor soldiers through the transition process from military to civilian life. ETS-SP is about a personal relationship between the transitioning service member and the sponsor.

Who can be a sponsor?
Anyone- military or civilian- who cares about our service members and veterans and is willing and able to commit the time.
