The Hardin County Chamber of Commerce and the entire community lost a good friend and compassionate volunteer in Michael A. England.
Michael was a dedicated and hard-working Ambassador for the chamber, who never met a stranger, who loved to share a good story, and who cared deeply about service and friendship.
A Veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired gate guard at Fort Knox, Michael loved helping others and he was known for his generosity and kindness. From mowing his neighbors’ yards to mentoring young soldiers, Michael was a servant leader who loved big and lived life to the fullest. He was also tremendously stylish, charismatic, always smiling and very witty. To know him was to love him.
We will deeply miss our dear friend and we are thankful for the time that he shared with us.  Until we meet again…..
