Project SEARCH is a program that changes the mindset of employers who feel that people with disabilities cannot fit into the competitive employment market. Project SEARCH prepares young people with disabilities for work!
Collaboratively working with the school system, vocational rehabilitation, a host
business, and community services, individuals are provided with a year
internship at Dow where they learn employability skills that focus on hard skills
and soft skills alike that molds a competitive employee with the skills to be
SUCCESSFUL in their place of employment.
We are looking for employers who are willing to give these dynamic interns a chance at employment. Not only is it life changing for the individual with disabilities, but it is a rewarding experience for the employer. Project SEARCH not only prepares these individuals for work, but will provide follow-up and employment support after the internship is completed.
Are you looking for a dependable employee who simply adores
going to work and is eager to please? Our Interns may be what you’re looking for!
