Hardin County Chamber and WKU’s Professional MBA offering “Member Discount”

The Hardin County Chamber of Commerce and WKU’s Professional MBA (PMBA) program are now offering a “Chamber Discount” to chamber members.  Education and economic development go hand-in-hand.  A new $500 special tuition waiver is now offered to any Hardin County Chamber members who are admitted to the PMBA program and stay enrolled.

There is still time to enroll in the 2013 entering class and take advantage of the new Chamber Discount.

Details of the Chamber Discount can be found at http://www.wku.edu/mba/discount-tuition.php

Call or contact the WKU PMBA program to learn more about what an executive MBA can possibly do for you and your career.  http://www.wku.edu/mba/wku-mba-professional-option.php

WKU’s PMBA is an “executive MBA” program. These programs were invented to accommodate the needs of entrepreneurs, managers, and professionals – like chamber members.  “Executive” programs are different from other MBA programs:

ü   Meet fewer times and have fewer total in-class hours

ü   Enrollment limited to professionals, entrepreneurs, and managers (5+ years experience)

ü   Focus upon applied cases, exercises, and projects

ü   High-level learning across the 8 primary business areas

ü   Waive the GMAT requirement entirely for those with professional and academic doctorates

ü   Years of experience count as points on the GMAT score for all others

THE WKU PMBA PROGRAM WAS DESIGNED FOR BUSY PROFESSIONALS AND MANAGERS:

The PMBA program meets alternate Saturdays in the fall, spring, and summer terms for 2 years.  It includes a Graduate Leadership Certificate in addition to the MBA degree and an international experience option.

Many MBA programs demand a number of “foundation” courses which can add 1-2 years to your program.  WKU has created learning “modules” which prepare you for the advanced MBA courses. You can complete these at your own pace without sitting in classes.

Our graduates have told us about how their careers have benefited from the business expertise an MBA offers:  promotions, new jobs, meeting personal goals, and launching new businesses.
