The Chamber hosted its inaugural Volunteer Mob on January 19th at Feeding America Kentucky’s Heartland. The idea stemmed from the Program Committee and a member of the committee, Brian Smith. A dedicated group of volunteers from the Chamber membership, Ambassadors, board members, staff and friends came out and packed dozens of boxes of food for FAKH’s programs. Even Hardin County Judge-Executive Keith Taul and his wife Megan, assisted in the efforts.
The group worked alongside volunteers from the Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) group of Fort Knox and some other enthusiastic and experienced volunteers from the local community.
Thanks to everyone for their hard work, time, energy and commitment. We look forward to hosting more Volunteer Mobs in the future, so stay tuned!
