DESCRIPTION:After a two-year hiatus\, the West Point River Days Festival is returning this year! \nThe festival runs from September 15-17 at scenic Veterans Memorial Park on the riverbank of West Point. The festival will include vendor booths\, food trucks\, live music\, a parade\, silent auction\, rides\, games\, a golf cart poker run\, children’s activities and so much more. DESCRIPTION:It’s time to clean out your garages\, basements and medicine cabinets and take your hazardous materials and outdated prescriptions to the annual Hardin County Hazardous Waste Prescription Drug Disposal event on September 17\, 2022. \nFrom 8:00am-2:00pm\, items such as pool chemicals\, batteries\, anti-freeze\, pesticides\, smoke detectors and paint thinner will be accept at Metalsa\, located at 750 North Black Branch Road in Elizabethtown. \nNo commercial waste will be accepted.
