SUMMARY:Household Hazardous Waste & Prescription Drug Disposal
DESCRIPTION:On August 12\, 2023 from 8:00am-2:00pm\, Hardin County will host its annual Household Hazardous Waste and Prescription Drug Disposal program at Metalsa. \nThis event is open to Hardin County residents only. Residents may drop off a wide variety of household waste and chemicals such as oil based paints\, drain cleaners\, pool chemicals. mercury thermometers\, pesticides\, fire extinguishers and more. Expired and unused prescription drugs will also be accepted.  Click the link below to see a full list of items that will be accepted\, as well as items that will NOT be accepted. \nBring your items to Metalsa\, located at 750 North Black Branch Road in Elizabethtown.
