Congratulations to the 2023-2024 Youth Leadership Hardin County class on their recent graduation!
This talented group of high school juniors from across the county was recognized at their program graduation program on April 25, 2024. The event was held at the HCS Early College and Career Center and sponsored by WesBanco. Local radio personality Zac Newton served as the Master of Ceremonies and the event was attended by school leadership, program volunteers and family members.
The group of 29 students represented the following schools: Central Hardin High School, Elizabethtown High School, Fort Knox Middle/High School, John Hardin High School, North Hardin High School and the homeschool population.
From September through March, the students were exposed to various facets of the community, such as government, healthcare, Fort Knox, industry and media, meeting with community leaders and touring numerous facilities to learn about various careers as well as the functionality of our region.
The Hardin County Chamber of Commerce thanks the generous sponsors, volunteers, community partners and school personnel who make this program possible.
