Congrats to Ambassador of the Month Jessica Marcum

Congratulations to Jessica Marcum of Affordable Benefits Solutions on being named the Ambassador of the Month.

Jessica, a native of a small, rural area in Southeast Ohio, represents a unique blend of educator, adventurer, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Her academic journey led her to Campbellsville University, where she earned a BS in Elementary Education. Eager to continue shaping young minds, Jessica later pursued a Master’s in Library Media Education from Western Kentucky University.

For 16 years, Jessica served as a dedicated teacher for Hardin County Schools. Her commitment to education was not just a profession but a passion, reflecting in her innovative teaching methods.

A new chapter unfolded as Jessica transitioned from teaching to becoming an insurance agent. Intrigued by the world of business, she became an advocate for small businesses. Recognizing the need for community support, Jessica founded the “Hardin County Kentucky Networking Group” on Facebook, providing a platform for local businesses to connect and thrive.

In January 2023, Jessica took her commitment to support others a step further by founding Affordable Benefits Solutions. Her mission is clear — to help clients navigate the complex world of insurance, specializing in tailoring affordable solutions for companies, self-employed individuals, 1099 contractors, and families.

Drawing upon her teaching background, Jessica makes insurance understandable to everyone. Her ability to simplify complex concepts ensures that clients not only secure the right coverage but also understand the value and benefits.

As Jessica continues to guide businesses and individuals towards financial security, she remains dedicated to using her teaching abilities and entrepreneurial spirit to make a lasting impact.

Beyond business, Jessica is a proud mother to two children, Tyler and Kylie. Her zest for life extends to kayaking and hiking, she enjoys watching sports and she finds joy in expressing herself through karaoke and writing.

The chamber appreciates all of Jessica’s time, energy and hard work serving our members. Congratulations on this honor!
