Competitive Power Ventures has joined the chamber at the Community Partner level, showcasing their commitment to be involved in our local economy. We are excited to welcome them and their representatives, Paul Robson and Steve Sullivan.
A leading North American electric power generation development and asset management company, CPV is currently working to develop CPV Stonecrop Solar, a photovoltaic solar project in Hardin County. To honor the traditional agricultural heritage of Hardin County, the project will use grazing sheep for vegetation management and set aside land for continued crop production and plant pollinator habitats on a significant portion of the site. This emerging best practice in the solar industry known as ‘agrivoltaics’, which enables local renewable energy generation and economic development to take place side by side with continued agricultural use of the land.
Thank you to CPV for your support and investment in the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce.Â
