The Hardin County Chamber of Commerce announced the hiring of Kent Bailey as its new relationship manager.
In addition to being a chamber ambassador for many years, Bailey has broad-based private sector experience in real estate, media sales and the financial sector.
“We are excited to have Kent join the Chamber staff and continue his great work to support our members and the local business community,” said Brad Richardson, Chamber President and CEO. “Kent knows firsthand the needs of local businesses and will help them maximize their Chamber membership.”
In addition to supporting current Chamber members, Bailey also will recruit new members and share information about how the Chamber can help them network, promote, develop and advocate.
Bailey has been active in the community for years, volunteering for numerous organizations including the Lincoln Trail Workforce Investment Board.
“I’ve always enjoyed meeting and helping people,” said Bailey. “I look forward to developing new and growing existing relationships with the businesses and organizations that keep Hardin County strong. I am eager to contribute to the success of our business community and the Chamber.”
Bailey replaces Sarah Hart who recently retired.
He lives in the Eastview area with his wife and high school sweetheart, Linda.
