The Hardin County Chamber of Commerce was honored to partner with several community partners to host a job and career fair for the employees impacted by the BlueOval SK layoff.
The chamber, Kentucky Career Center-Lincoln Trail, the Elizabethtown-Hardin County Industrial Foundation, Lincoln Trail Area Development District Workforce Department, the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Foundation, as well as the Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet and the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development joined forces to host the event, held at the Pritchard Community Center on January 22, 2026.
The event enabled motivated, trained and vetted job seekers to connect with a wide variety of vendors seeking talented folks, while also providing networking opportunities for businesses and organizations from across the region and state.
Over 60 employers from across the Commonwealth were on hand, providing opportunities and resources for the over 600 job seekers that attended.
Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman also visited the event, speaking to the attendees and offering words of encouragement and appreciation.
At the end of the day, interviews were set, job offers were made, people were encouraged and our community rallied behind our friends and neighbors in transition.
Thanks to everyone for their support, partnership, investment and time in making this event a success.
