Hardin County Chamber of Commerce would like to recognize Brandenburg Telephone Company (BBTEL) as one of our March Chamber Luncheon sponsors.
BBTEL began in 1900 as Meade County Telephone before officially changing its name to Brandenburg Telephone Company in 1950. It has expanded over time to provide service to Irvington, Vine Grove, Elizabethtown, Clarkson, Sonora, Upton and Muldraugh, and in 1980 became the first telephone company in Kentucky to have a completely digital system and provide 911 services to customers.
BBTEL also partnered with other independent companies to form Bluegrass Cellular, and in addition to telephone services, has expanded to provide broadband Internet and digital television to customers.
Thank you to our sponsor, BBTEL.
