ABC Student of the Month Ellyana Gomez

Ellyana is currently a senior at North Hardin High School and plans to attend either University of Pittsburgh, Temple University, or University of Kentucky next year. She plans to go into medicine and become an obstetrician, as well as earn a degree in public health. She is part of North Hardin’s peer counseling program, Spanish club, varsity soccer team, and Future Business Leaders of America club. She has volunteered at Ireland Army Hospital, North Middle School and has organized community service projects through the Spanish club to collect books for middle school children. Ellyana is in the process of planning a 5k fun run through the Peer Counseling program to raise money for the North Hardin Youth Services Center and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
