28th NAACP Annual Freedom Fund Banquet

Get ready for the Gold Carpet, because this is the Black-Tie Formal event you have been waiting for!

Join us for the 28th Annual Freedom Fund Banquet on September 21, 2019 at the Sadowski Center, as the NAACP celebrates 110 years of achievements across Kentuckiana.

The banquet doors will open at 6:00 pm. Emceed by two-time award-winning journalist, WAVE 3’s Natalia Martinez. This year’s inspirational program will begin with a delicious gourmet dinner, followed by a special tribute to the distinguished “Living Legends of NAACP” within our community. After the tribute, guests will enjoy an inspiring presentation by this year’s special guest speaker, CNN News Anchor, TV ONE Commentator and Author, Roland Martin. The night will end with an exceptional entertainment performance featuring the sensational sounds of Louisville’s own “Blazin’ Violinist,” Maestro J.

An exclusive VIP reception will take place before the event at 5:00 pm. Sponsored by the Swope Family of Dealerships, this private reception will provide VIP ticketholders with exquisite cocktails and an exclusive opportunity to engage with guest speaker, Roland Martin, as well as an autographed copy of his newest book.

This magnificent first-class affair will leave you inspired and motivated to make a difference in the fight to secure equality and well-being for all.
