2026 Youth Leadership Hardin County Program Graduation

Congratulations to the 2025-2026 Youth Leadership Hardin County program graduates!

This year’s group of 36 bright, inquisitive and community-minded high school juniors completed the 2025-2026 program and celebrated with a graduation ceremony on April 23, 2026.

The graduation took place at the HCS Early College and Career Center (EC3) and was generously sponsored by WesBanco. Wesbanco City President, Heartland Region, Marilyn Ford, shared an inspirational message with the students and presented them with certificates. WQXE/WULF News Director AJ Brammer did a wonderful job at the master of ceremonies.

A packed house was on hand to celebrate the students, hear their achievements and insights from the program, as well as their future plans after high school.

Youth Leadership Hardin County, sponsored by the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Hardin County Alumni, is a program designed to provide selected high school juniors who display leadership potential with an opportunity to learn about the strengths, concerns, connections and assets of our community from our local leaders. The students represented the following schools: Central Hardin High School, Elizabethtown High School, Fort Knox High School, John Hardin High School, North Hardin Christian School and North Hardin High School. The students gathered monthly and focused on different segments of the community. Sessions included team-building, Fort Knox, healthcare, education, media, the economy and industry.

Youth Leadership Hardin County is made possible by the generosity of numerous sponsors, speakers, volunteers, school counselors, school administrators and session managers. We appreciate everyone’s commitment, involvement and unwavering support.

Congratulations to this dynamic group of students! Our community’s future is very bright with these young leaders in our midst.
